We are Sunflower Isle!
I’m Heather, enjoying life on 5 acres in Sarasota, Florida with my husband, our four wonderful kids, two cats, a golden retriever, and a growing flock of animals. We have 5 Buff Orpington hens, 3 Silkie hens, and are eagerly awaiting 7 Easter Egger chicks in three weeks. Our little farm is also home to Holland Lop bunnies, and we’re expecting three Sebastopol goslings soon! Our days are filled with homeschooling adventures, raising animals, fishing, spearfishing, and experimenting with gluten-free recipes. I also write about our Siesta Key & Florida Keys adventures and the challenges of navigating a complex medical diagnosis—something I couldn’t do without prayer and trusting God every step of the way. My hope is to connect with others and help them find strength, hope, and healing in their own journey.
Blue skies & endless adventures,
Heather
